Our clients space was a basic paved side passage with timber fencing. While functional, it felt cramped and lacked cohesion, with exposed fences, bare walls, and little landscaping. The narrow layout offered limited comfort or visual appeal, making it more of a thoroughfare than a place to relax.

The area was transformed into a luxurious, resort-inspired garden retreat. Composite decking created a warm, seamless foundation, while the sleek black screening, frosted privacy panels, clever use of glass and mirrored walls created the feeling of space and the architectural timber framing added structure and elegance.

We also made a custom hand-built outdoor cabinet, designed and crafted to fit the space perfectly. Finished in satin black with elegant brass-style hardware, it provided hidden storage while doubling as a stylish serving station. A practical feature that blended beautifully with the garden's contemporary design and ambient lighting.

Lush bamboo planting softened the space, providing privacy and a tranquil atmosphere. Comfortable lounge furniture created a welcoming conversation area, complemented by subtle feature lighting that highlighted the planting and transformed the garden after dark. Every element was carefully designed to maximise the compact footprint, turning an overlooked space into a stylish and highly functional outdoor room.
